Alice B. Malone, affectionately known as “Annie”, age 69, passed away on August 3, 2017 after a battle with illness.  Alice was born on April 15, 1948 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Author and Parlee Floyd.  Alice worked at GCA and was a homemaker.  She was known for her love to cook.  Alice enjoyed being with family and had a passion for playing cards.  She will always be remembered for opening her home to everyone.  Her heart and soul was dedicated to her family and bringing them together.

Alice leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 52 years, George and their children, Patsy Malone, George Jr. (Tracy) Malone, Tyrone Malone, and LaShelle Malone; her lovely sister, Virginia (Floyd) Barnes, and brother Tommy Brown. She also leaves her grandchildren, Dominique, LaKeda, Travenn, JauQuita, Courtney, George III, LaZirick, Jasmine, Tyreon, Caittlyn, LaReena, Dashae, Janajae, Caleb, Jordan, and Dashanti; her great grandchildren, Travenn Jr., Tramontae, Iyonna, Brooklyn, Trinity, Marcus Jr., Autumn and Richard III.

Alice is proceeded in death by her parents, Author and Parlee Floyd, brother Joe Floyd, in-laws Richard and Annie Malone, Special friend Jackie Nunn.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017, 11:00am at New Omega MBC, 5731 Northwestern Ave.  Visitation will be at the church from 9am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.  Pastor Fred L. Richmond will be officiating.

    I have so many memories with Alice .Just walking down the street and her saying come on girl you not doing nothing come play cards with me.I was the only teenager there and I had soo much fun.There is another card game that I knew I wasn’t really invited to;but Alice said girl you with me.So we get there and she says “This girl wanna play to”I was nervous but she said it would be ok.Always had a smile spoke what was on her mind.And a heart filled with love.I met Pasty Shelle June and Tyrone when I was 15 years old.I love how they have always looked after each other. Thanks Alice for making me feel like apart of your family.I’m praying for everyone she has touched and adding my deepest Condolences to the Malone Family.     I thought I sent one already so I won’t make this one as long.I thank Alice for making me feel welcomed in the family.Even though at 15 Faye was one of my friends we did things with just us and it was always real fun.I wish peace love and blessings for the Malone family as the get through this painful moment in life.I also ask that God cover them all with the blood of Jesus as they move forward. I love you all and will continue to pray for the family.
