RACINE – Alma Jewel Bunch, 55, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

Born in Laurel, MS to Ollie and Mary Jewel Bunch (Washington)

She is survived by her children, Shalia Bunch-Satterwhite, Katasha Bunch, Khali Bunch (Tiffany), Steven Bunch, Cory Bunch, Aundre Evans, & Deonyata Evans; Seventeen grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; her siblings, Mary L. Bryant (Clinton), Rosetta Bunch, Alberta Bunch, and Jeffery Bunch; special friend and companion Ross Moss and her longtime friend Lori Gray; A host of nieces, nephews, and many dear friends and family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents- Elmer and Roberta Washington, and brother Robert Paige.

Alma was loved and appreciated by many. She was best known for her cooking and bringing the family together through her meals. Like her mom she wore her heart on her sleeve. As a result, anyone who met her grew to love her and was receptive to her mission of being peaceful and having fun. She cherished her family and they reciprocated the same admiration. We’ll always remember her infectious smile and laughter.

Homegoing services will be held at Draeger Langendorf Funeral Home at 11 am on Saturday, June 10, 2017 with Minister Emma Hutcherson officiating. All are invited to join the family from 10 am -11 am for the viewing. A private interment service will take place on Monday, June 12, 2017 where the family will place her with her beloved mother.
