Andre “Billy Dee” Williams

Jan 14, 1959 – Jun 13, 2006

Racine – Andre “Billy Dee” Williams, 47, passed away at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee on Tuesday, June 13, 2006. He born in Racine on January 14, 1959, son of the late Jack and Lucille (nee: Moore) Williams. Andre was a graduate of Walden high school, and served our country in the Army from July 19, 1977 to July 18, 1980. Andre was formerly employed at Jacobson where he worked as a machinist. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed cooking, and spending time at the dog track. We will all miss his humorous nature. Above all, his kids and family were most important to him. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Domino Williams and Andre Williams II both of Junction City, Kansas, and Jasmine Williams of Tampa, Florida; two grandchildren Dai-jon Lopez, and Aizja Lopez; his brothers and sisters, Gregory (Maydell) Williams of Racine, Wilma (Anthony Majors) Waldrop of St. Paul, Minnesota, Kenny (Pamela) Williams of Racine, Cynthia (Lamar) Dismuke of Milwaukee, and Betty Clark of Racine; dear step-mom Nellie Williams of Racine; special friend Clarice Hayslett; and long-time friends Byron Gandy and Robert Barkley, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his sister, Bobbette Pearson, and his niece, Leslie Billups. Homegoing services will be held in the funeral home at 12 noon on Monday, June 19, 2006 with Rev. A.W. Scaife officiating. Burial at Graceland Cemetery will be private. Visitation will begin Monday morning at 11 a.m. Memorials to the Lakeview Specialty Hospital & Rehab Center, 1701 Sharp Road, Waterford, Wisconsin have been suggested. Our family would like to publicly thank all of the dedicated staff at Lakeview Specialty Hospital for the extraordinary care given to Andre, his family, and all of their patients. God bless all of you.

Testimonials

June 26, 2020

My family picked Draeger , for our Dad, because they did such a wonderful job for my sister and brother in law. I don’t even have the right language skills to tell you how wonderful and compassionate Gary was to our family! He thought of every detail and made it so affordable but yet OUTSTANDING quality! I just can’t say enough about the whole entire process! Thank you Gary! Warren Williams officiated the service and he couldn’t of done a better , more sincere job! Thank you again, Gary! You are superb!

Sincerely,
The Morris Family ❤
