Annie D. White, 63, was called Home by her Loving Savior on December 26, 2020. She was born in Grenada, MS on June 2, 1957 the daughter of the late Rufus and Benetta (nee: Robinson) Starks. Mrs. White had been the housekeeping manager for several hotels. She had been a member of the Church of Christ.  Annie liked to dance, laugh, and spend time with her family. She loved to listen to music and  watch scary movies. Halloween was her favorite holiday because she loved candy. Because she loved candy so much, her sister, Gari, called her Candy, and Annie called her Cherry. That was always their thing. She loved to go shopping and eat out with her sister on the weekends. Her favorite color was black. She was unique and found so much joy in the little things in life, such as scented candles, perfume, balloons, cards, and we can’t forget her plants and her Pepsi. Her sisters, Bertha Howard and Gari Starks, were her best friends.

Surviving are her children, Maurice White, and Latangla (Marcus Hasty) Hawkins; grandchildren, D’angelo McIntosh, Kaimari Jones, Marcus Hasty Jr., Shareana Terry, Harmony Hasty, Heaven Hasty, Kashshay Hasty; great-granddaughter, La,Niyah McIntosh; brothers and sisters M.L. Starks, of Racine, Willie Starks, of Grenada, MS, Joe Berryhill, (William Berryhill), both of Racine, Dorothy Allen, of Granada, MS, Robert Starks, James Starks, and Marvin Starks, all of Fayetteville, AR, Bertha Howard, of Appleton, WI, and Gari (Clarence) Horn, of Racine; special niece, Janice Howard; special nephews, Steve Berryhill  and Dearbro Smith; bonus son, Ray Crockett; and special friend, Roy Scott. Mrs. White is joining her parents, Rufus and Benetta; brothers, Larry Starks, Nathaniel Starks, and Larry Donell Starks; sister, Jessie Starks; and nephew, Emmanuel Howard, all in Heaven.https://youtu.be/t9yqzv4sir0
