Racine – Barbara Lee Otto, 67, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017. She was born in Chicago on August 17, 1949, daughter on the late William and Beatrice (Nee: Lee) Lewan, Sr.

Barbara was united in marriage to the love of her life, Marvin Nicholas Otto, on October 13, 1979.

Barbara graduated from Nathan Hale High School. She was a proof reader for the JC Penney catalog until after she was married and then focused on being homemaker for her and Marv. She enjoyed gardening and making her yard beautiful. In her later years, she learned how to use a computer and enjoyed spending time online. She also had a love for her Scotty dogs over the years, Missy, Nicki, and Molly.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Marv Otto of Racine; brothers and sisters, Elaine Puff of Mukwanago, Robert (Kathy) Lewan of West Allis, Dolly Bacovsky of Green Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends too numerous to mention.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Lewan, and brother, William Lewan, Jr.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, 12:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service.

The family would like to say Thank You to the ICU staff at Ascension – All Saints for the care given to Barbara during this difficult time.

Mike Langendorf, my parents told me of your kindness, generosity, and servitude when we lost my brother. They needed that strength and your light came through. Thank you! Anne T.
