
Mrs. Carol A. Kading, 73, died at WFH- All Saints Hospital on Saturday, September 1, 2007. Carol was born in Racine on December 9, 1933 to the late Carl and Mabel (nee: Deane) Anderson. She graduated from Washington Park High School and was a longtime member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. On November 15, 1952, she married Kenneth H. Kading in Epiphany Lutheran Church. She spent the first four years of marriage as a Navy wife. Since retiring with Ken in 1986, they had spent 20 enjoyable years traveling to Lake Poygan – Boom Bay Resort. Carol loved life. She enjoyed fishing, country music, gardening and flowers. She was a dear wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her loving husband, Ken, her survivors include her children, Terri (Allan) Kading-Wheeler, John (Karen) Kading, Lee Anne (Dale) Spranger all of Racine, Karen (Jim) Washebek of Omro, WI, Kelly (Nancy) Kading of Larsen, WI; 10 grandchildren, Alicia, Tony, Daniel, Mitchell, Carly, Nicky, Steffie, Justin, Hannah and Becca; 2 great grandchildren; Grace and Tyler; sister and brother, Joyce (Bob) Parr, Warren Anderson, both of Racine and numerous other family and dear friends whom she was able to say goodbye to before her death. Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. for a public visitation. Her life and funeral service will be celebrated at Epiphany Lutheran Church (2921 Olive St.) on Wednesday , September 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Zarling officiating. There will also be a visitation in the church on Wednesday morning from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow the funeral in West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials in Carol’s name may be directed to Becker-Shoop Center. A very special thank you to Yolanda Gray, Mary Lou, Cindy and the entire staff at Becker-Shoop, as well as Dr. Michael Ansani, D.O and WFH-All Saints Hospice for making Carol feel as if she was family.
