Family and friends are invited to meet at Grace Lutheran Church (3700 Washington Ave, Racine) on Friday, OCTOBER 24, 2025, for a visitation from 10:00 am – 11:30 am.
Her funeral service will take place at 11:30 am with Rev. John A. Framm, III, officiating.
Her interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.

UNION GROVE – Carol A. Galis, 81, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Carol was born on October 29, 1943, the daughter of the late Frank Galis and Martha (nee Thomka) Call. Frank passed away in 1986, and Martha married Elsemore “Knute” Call in 1990. Knute passed away in 1998 and Martha passed away in 2020.
Carol lived at Southern Wisconsin Center for many years, where she had many dear friends and was well cared for. She always loved group trips to ball games, restaurants, county fairs, summer picnics, and their annual Christmas parties. Carol also enjoyed receiving milkshakes from her visitors, looking through her magazines, as well as collecting new pocketbooks (purses) and jewelry.
She is survived by her brother, Bill (Barb) Galis; her sister, Brenda (Jim) Kasprovich; and her nephews and nieces, David (Sandra) Galis, Wendy (David) Miklaszewski, Ben (Jes) Taggart, and Katie (Adam) Ritzman. Carol is also survived by many dear great and great-great nieces and nephews, stepsiblings, cousins, as well as her dear friend, Danny. In addition to her parents and stepfather, Carol was preceded in death by her nephew, Jonathan Galis.
