I just learned this evening of ChuckWI’s passing…So very, very sorry to hear it. I am from the Genealogy Chat Room where Chuck came in all the time…I have not been going in there on a regular basis for the past several months…so didn’t know that Chuck hadn’t been going in either…My deepest sympathy to all of his family and loved ones…I know that he will be (and is) sadly missed by everyone in there, as well as in his personal life. He was always kind and helped everyone that he possibly could in any way that he could…My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Take care and God Bless.

It is with great sadness that I have just learned of the passing of a long time chatroom friend.

Chuck and his friends at the Genforum Chat have been together a long time and all because of a mutual love of genealogy.

Testimonials

October 9, 2020

I would like to thank Mike Langendorf, Bill Althaus and the rest of the staff for the wonderful celebration of the life for my father Raymond L. Szymanski who was a WWII veteran. I especially appreciate how much you really listen and the questions you asked regarding who my father was and what he was all about. Those details showed up in every part of the service from the flowers, the music, the thank you’s, pictures, obituary, outdoor military honors, etc. etc. My father would have been so grateful for the way you honored his life. I also received phone calls from family and friends indicating how beautiful the service was in every way. You and your staff definitely go above and beyond. You treat everyone like family and your compassion is so genuine. There should be more people in the world just like all of you. No words can express our gratitude for all you have done for myself, my father and our family. Thank you so very much and may the Lord bless you and yours! Sincerely Terri Carls and the Szymanski Family
