WAUKESHA – Charles Brownlee 66, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, formerly of Kenosha, passed away September 25, 2017.

Mr. Brownlee was born on April 23rd, 1951 in Clarkesdale, Mississippi, to the late Rainey and Pearlie Mae (Franklin) Brownlee. He was educated in the city of Chicago, Illinois. He also studied law. Mr. Brownlee enjoyed working as a truant officer in Kenosha, encouraging youth to get their education.

He loved traveling and was a member of True Life Apostolic Church in Waukesha.

He is survived by one sister Diann (James) Williams, two brothers; Rainey Jr. & Peirrie Brownlee all of Kenosha; his loving aunt, Virginia Shelley and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.   Mr. Brownlee was preceded in death, by his parents, one sister, Mildred Bulls; three brothers, Dennis, Clarence, & Albert Brownlee as well as maternal and paternal grandparents.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Greater Mt. Hebron Church (7445 – 20th Avenue, Kenosha) at 11am.  A private interment will take place at Greenridge Cemetery in Kenosha.
