
Merrillan, Wisconsin – Charles T. Sliker, 62, formerly of Racine, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, December 9, 2005. He was born on March 4, 1943, son of the late William and Evelyn (nee: Gilbertson) Sliker. Charles honorably served in the US army from 1963 – 66 including a tour in Viet Nam Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman. After retiring from JI Case he relocated to Merrillan, where he could pursue his love of the outdoors. Charles also enjoyed playing horseshoes, bowling, and watching football. Charles was a member of Racine Instinctive Bowmen. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Todd Weber of Kenosha; brother and sisters, William, Mary, Janet, and Susan; other relatives and friends. He was also preceded by his daughter, Lisa; and sons Brian and Charles Jr. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2005. All are invited to visit in the funeral home on Friday beginning at 12 noon. Memorials to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources have been suggested.
