Christine Rose Sell

Dec 16, 1947 – Jul 12, 2006

Racine- Christine Rose Sell, 58, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 following a courageous battle with cancer. Chris was born in Kingsford, Michigan on December 16, 1947 to Donald and Martha (nee: Lash) Heiskala. A 1965 graduate of Washington Park High School, she lived in Racine for most of her life. On July 20, 1966, Chris was united in marriage to Randall Sell. Among various places of employment, she has worked the last several years at Nelson Electric. An adventurous and fun-loving woman, Chris loved to have a good time. This was apparent by her infectious smile whenever in the surroundings of family and friends. She will be greatly missed! Surviving are her former husband, Randy; daughter, Stacey (Steve) Salvo; son, Scott Sell; grandchildren, Adam, Aaron, Katharina and Skyy; brother, Russell; sister, Lina; many other special relatives, co-workers, and friends, too numerous to mention by name. Chris was preceded in death by her brothers, Randy and David. In accordance with Chris’s wishes, cremation will take place. There will be a memorial visitation at the funeral home, 4600 County Line Rd., on Saturday, July 15, 2006 from 2-4 pm. Private burial will take place. A special note of thanks to the wonderful family at Nelson Electric who were especially supportive, both spiritually and financially, during Chris’s entire illness. Your generosity and friendship will never be forgotten!

I used to work with Chris at Bill Binetti’s office. How shocked and sad I am to hear of your loss. Chris was so much fun to be around and always had something fun to say. We had fun working together and she was so supportive of me. We have kept in touch over the years through Christmas cards. Stacey, I’m so sorry for you and your family. I remember how close you and your mom were. God bless!
