A Celebration of His Life will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 1100am in the Chapel of Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Rd., Racine, WI. Visitation will be in the chapel from 10:00am until the time of service.
In accordance with Racine County mandate, only 50 people will be allowed to enter the funeral home at a time. You may be required to wait outside until others leave the building. For the safety and security of our guests we also require those in attendance to wear a face covering. We thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.

Racine, WI – Christopher Arnez Cosey, Sr. 41, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at 7:23 am.
Christopher known to many as “Chrissy” or “Chris” was born in Racine, Wisconsin on July 25, 1978 to Dewey and Joyce Ann (Cosey) Honor. Chris enjoyed assembling remote control cars, fishing, and the Hip Hop culture. He was a down-to-earth type of guy and always good for a laugh. Chris attended Washington Park High School and in 2017 he worked at Racine Danish Kringles.
Christopher is survived by both of his parents; two children, Zamiria Arnaz Cosey and Christopher Arnez Cosey, Jr. both of Racine, WI; brother, Dewey “Corky” Honor of Racine, WI; sister, Melissa (Kerry) Jackson of Alpharetta, GA; sister-in-law, Tameeka (nee: Goodwin) Cosey; nieces and nephews, Na’Jeer, Nikaria, and Melissa Cosey, Terrence Miller, Shamar and Ki Jackson, Alexis Honor and Samaria Warzinsky; special friend, Sherika Cole and her children, Corithein Broughton, Alize Robinson, Omunazia Hicks and Daombrien Burl.
Christopher was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Michael Cosey; grandparents Dewey and Daisy Honor and Warren and Dorothy Cosey; uncle, Henry Honor; cousins, William “Kaboo” Griffin, Devion Cosey and Tyron Ellis, as well as his close friend Terrence “Squirt” Miller.
A Homegoing Service for Christopher will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Rd., Racine, WI. Viewing 10-11, Service 11-12. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Repast will be held at Island Park. Chris loved Island Park.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home for Christopher’s final expenses.

In peace you rest finally Chris. Didn’t know you enough to judge you on any level, but I knew you loved my Peedy! Hurts my heart it was your time to leave her and she’s left without you but prayer helps. I’ll continue to pray for Peedy with Peedy. Sending up prayers for your family also.
