Racine- Claude B. Traughber, 72, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 24, 2007. Claude was born in Owensboro, KY on January 2, 1935 to the late Fonzo and Mabel (nee: Miller) Traughber. He proudly served our Country with the United States Army from 1958-60. Among several places of employment during his career, Claude worked as a fork-lift operator at American Motors. In her spare time, he enjoyed stamp collecting, listening to Country music, shooting pool and darts, watching television and had an extensive and well organized video-movie tape collection. Most appropriately, Claude passed away holding on to his remote control. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow in S. WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 11 am – 1pm.
