In addition to her husband, Sonny of Racine, she is survived by her  daughter, Deanna (Fred) Trevino of Sturtevant; her sons, John VanHara , Scott Straka and Matt (Michelle ) Bosanec all of Racine; her precious grandchildren, Ariel VanHara, Aaliyah Trevino, Kaylee  VanHara, Isabella Trevino, Tahlia VanHara and Piper VanHara; her sisters and brother, Sharon (Dick) Schroeder, Fond du Lac, WI, Charlie Hopkins of Milwaukee, Charlene Krukowski of Waterford; as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 for a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  A service celebrating her life will follow at 7:00 p.m.  A private interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park.  Memorials have been suggested to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America.

With sincere sympathy to the family; I worked with Colleen many, many years ago at the first Menard’s store in Racine. She was a gentle, caring and hardworking co-worker who was devoted to her husband and family and juggled the demands of her career with her love for her family. I have very fond memories of Colleen and am saddened to hear of her passing. May the family find comfort in their memories.

Testimonials

Joan Schrader and family

We want to thank Mike for the kindness and special attention he gave us for our mother. Marcella Conley. He came in the middle of the night himself to pick her up and take her to the funeral home. For the things that had to be taken care of, he told us not to worry; that it would be taken care of by him. Thank you also Mike for singing at her funeral, especially her favorite song, Amazing Grace. Thank you and all of your staff at Draeger-Langendorf.
