David Allen Landreman, 72, of Racine, Wisconsin, passed away on July 7, 2025. Born on December 13, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dave lived a life defined by quiet strength, steadfast work ethic, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.

Dave was a proud graduate of Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Throughout his life, he remained deeply rooted in his home state and committed to the values instilled in him from an early age.

Dave shared 51 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Judy Landreman. Together, they built a life grounded in love, laughter, and family—a bond that stood the test of time and blossomed into a legacy of togetherness. Dave was a proud and dedicated father to Sandra Smith, Julie Sulamoyo, Renee Hyrczyk, and Jordan Landreman. His heart expanded even more as he embraced his role as grandfather with pure joy and pride. Whether cheering at games, sharing stories, or simply offering a warm hug, Dave treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren: Jackson Smith; Kordell (Colleen), Kegan, and Kalisia Sulamoyo; John and Cheyenne Hyrczyk; Hannah Keown, Andrew and Breleigh Brecklin. He also welcomed and appreciated the love and companionship of his sons-in-law William Smith, Chaka Sulamoyo and future daughter-in-law Laura Keown.

Dave is lovingly remembered by his mother, Beverly Landreman; his siblings John (Karen) Landreman, Lynn (Mark) Monroe, Gregg (Jackie) Landreman, Tom Landreman, Mary Jo Burley, and Rich Landreman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry his memory with them always. He was preceded in death by his father, Norbert Landreman.

Known for his calm demeanor and thoughtful nature, Dave was a gentle soul who brought comfort to those around him. He had a quiet curiosity about the world, keeping up with current events and enjoying the simple pleasure of daily walks. A man of endearing habits, he had a well-known fondness for his wife’s homemade chocolate chip cookies—often enjoying them by the handful with a smile on his face.

Above all, Dave’s greatest joy came from being present with his family. Whether through small conversations, shared meals, or family gatherings, he built lasting memories and meaningful connections. His love was not loud, but it was constant—offered in gestures, time, and presence.

Dave leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and quiet devotion. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those whose lives he so gently touched.

Testimonials

January 9, 2025

Michael,

First, let me start out by saying you were a God sent working with me for many years in preparations for my mom’s Homegoing Celebration December 7, 2024.  Even though this was our first time meeting in person, I felt like I already knew you.  Michael, you demonstrated  professionalism, empathy and, your warmth was surprising for me considering your role as a Funeral Director. Your attention to every detail, patient and support has made this process much easier for my family and me. I trusted you and you helped me find closure in a moment of great sadness, and for that we’re eternally grateful. I appreciate the time and energy you put into ensuring everything ran smoothly considering I reside in a different state.  Michael, my mom would have loved you and our family is forever grateful for your unwavering dedication and support during our season of grief.  May the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. (Numbers 6:25)

Valerie Tucker and the Family of Barbara Bell
