FUNERAL SERVICE: 5:00 p.m.

Memorial Suggestions

In lieu of flowers, memorials to his children have been suggested.  

Racine – David L. “Bubba”  Larsen, 62, passed away at Froedtert South in Pleasant Prairie on Sunday, March 1, 2020.

He was born in Racine on March 27, 1957 to the late Victor and Nora (nee: Jespersen) Larsen.

David served his nation with the U.S. Army for two years while stationed at Fort Hood, TX.   He worked as a cook most of his life in various local restaurants.  David enjoyed bowling, fishing and playing cards with his friends.

He is survived by his son, Kenny (Ellaina Gorske) Larsen; his daughter, Mariann Larsen; his grandson, Justin Larsen all of Racine; his brothers and sisters, Alan (Nancy) Larsen of Trevor, Norine Young of Kenosha, Debbie (Richard) Okon of Trego, WI, Mark Maloney of Racine; as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Larsen and his mother and step-father, Nora and Thomas Maloney.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 for a visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A service honoring and remembering his life will follow at 5:00 p.m.   In lieu of flowers, memorials to his children have been suggested.

    I had the pleasure of being his in home care aid for 8 plus years . I really got to know him. David will be missed.
