Racine – Delores Bernice Ricchio, 95, received the promise of eternal life on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.  She was born in Racine on September 3, 1922, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Née: Matsche) Steibel.

Delores was united in marriage to her junior high school sweetheart, Almondo Ricchio, on September 6, 1941, at Holy Name Church in Racine.  Almondo preceded her in death on June 21, 2001.

    Dear Ricchio Family,
Your mother was a wonderful woman with a deep love of her family and a zest for life. She was always very upbeat and easy going. I enjoying talking with her and hearing about the big Ricchio family holiday gatherings. I know that it brought her a lot of joy to be surrounded by her extended family.
What a blessing you all were to her, especially her daughter, Sherry, who was so kind to drive her mom to the UAW Local 180 Retiree’s meetings where Mrs. Ricchio was “the donut lady.” She’d make sure that everyone had a plate and napkin and greeted them with her sweet smile. She always made sure that I got a donut too.
I know that she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her, and I hope that God will be with you during this very sad time.
    With Deepest Sympathy,
    Sherry Horton

Testimonials

November 13, 2019

I just can’t get over how beautiful everything was for my mom’s funeral. She had a rough last four weeks but your amazing team totally did her justice! I was pretty confused during that hard time, but Brian, you made sure that all the “I”s were dotted and all the “T”s crossed. For that, I thank you. I also would like to thank the amazing team of makeup artists. My mom looked beautiful.

Dawn
