I miss grandpa Don. He was such an inspiration. Always had a smile. I’ll remember him at the YMCA, saying,”I’m here,I made it”,and then his big laugh would follow. Proud to have known you.

I was stunned and so saddened to learn of “Grandpa’s” passing. I have not been to many “Y” classes this summer due to my part-time work schedule, so I did not know until today. The “Y” will truly not be the same with Grandpa. He was such a character! Always smiling, always happy, always talking (!), and always making me laugh. Seems like everyone knew him and loved him. My condolences to Cherie, especially. She has been a wonderful, caring granddaughter to him.
I feel heartsick. I am so sorry.
