Auntie Doris used to take me, her “favorite nephew” shopping at Elmwood Plaza & movies downtown. She had an old Chevy, wore penny-loafers w/bobby sox, demim pants & a gray sweatshirt about 1959ish. Her sense of humor was the greatest.

I have only had the pleasure of knowing and being around lil doris for 1 yr. ,but, in this short time I fell in love with her sarcastic responses, us sharing goofy stories, the silly items she would give me that were products purchased by the mind of dementia. I will miss phone calls at night reminding me to get her certain items….as well as “Take your time leaving, but come back soon!”
I am sad Doris that I didn’t know you were so illl….I would have overstepped your requests and did more for you! I will miss the times I got you to laugh and you would say it felt good!
Look who’s laughing now….love you lil angel

Testimonials

A huge heart felt thank you!

My Aunt, Alvera Van Brunt, was adamant about not having a funeral; with Mike Langendorf’s skills and refreshing open personality, we were able to meet her desires and also give her family and friends a chance for final goodbyes.
