Elizabeth Anne Visor

Dec 20, 1936 – Mar 16, 2026

Service Details

A service celebrating Lizโ€™s life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at New Covenant Church, 801 College Avenue, Racine, Wisconsin 53403.

Elizabeth Anne Visor, 89, of Racine, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026. She was born on December 20, 1936, in Tupelo, Mississippi, to the late JQ Hill and Leola Hill. She spent her early years in Muskegon, Michigan, before making Racine her lifelong home. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman who spent many years as a mold operator at Moxness Products and also served as a hospital aide, caring for others with compassion. She was married to Curtis Visor Jr., who preceded her in death in 1981.

Liz was a woman of strong faith and was honored as the first official member of New Covenant Church. She found great joy in serving others, including her time in the Foster Grandparents Program, where she was deeply loved by the children she took care of.

Liz will be fondly remembered for her vibrant personalityโ€”she was no-nonsense, feisty, and full of life. She enjoyed simple pleasures, especially going on walks, and was rarely seen without her favorite Pepsi or Doublemint gum.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Tony (Sonya) Visor and Terry Visor; grandchildren, Jason, Maurice, Monterious, Tony Jr., and Aiden; great-grandchild, Tamarion; sisters, Ruth Coleman, Alice Doxey, Catherine Cheatums, and Cora (Carl) Fair; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Visor Jr.; her parents, JQ and Leola Hill; and her brother, James Q. Hill.

A service celebrating Lizโ€™s life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at New Covenant Church, 801 College Avenue, Racine, Wisconsin 53403.

The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to The Woods of Caledonia and St. Croix Hospice for their around the clock care and thoughtful service toward Liz and her family.

Lizโ€™s legacy of strength, faith, and love will live on in all who knew her.

Testimonials

Jessie Tuttle

Dear Bob,
I just wanted to thank you again for all your help and everything you did for my grandfather’s funeral. Looking back on it, I think Gramps would have been so proud of how everything turned out and it would not have been possible without your help. Your staff is amazing and has allowed us the grieve without worrying about the little details of everything that goes into making the arrangements and planning the services. You helped us honor one of the most amazing men in my life, and it meant so much to me personally and to my family. Thank you for everything.
Take care,
Jessie Tuttle
