Surviving are her sisters, Betty Bell and Eleanor Mahdik; nephews, Glenn (Deborah) Bell, Donald Bell and Allen Bell; great-nephew, Gary (Kari) Bell; great-great-nephews, Adam Peschel and Trevor Bell; step-nieces and nephew, Bonnie Smith, Kelly (Joe) Church and John Smith.

In addition to her parents, Emily was preceded in death by her loving companion of many years, Clarence LeMere; brother-in-law, Harvey Bell; and great-nephew, John Bell.

Funeral services will be held in Pentecost Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2213 Coolidge Avenue in Racine, on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11 am with Rev. Luke Jacob officiating. Entombment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be in the church on Monday from 10-11 am. In honor of the compassionate end-of-life care she received, memorials to Wheaton Franciscan Hospice has been suggested.
