Esther F. Foreman

Feb 20, 1920 – Mar 6, 2008

Racine – Esther F. Foreman, 88, was surrounded by her loving family as she passed away at All Saints Hospital on Thursday, March 06, 2008. She was born in Fond Du Lac on February 20, 1920, daughter of the late Julius and Wilhelmina (nee: Gross) Nedjelsky. On June 29, 1946 she was married in Neva, Wisconsin to Charles W. Foreman. Esther’s life was filled with her love for her family, and enjoyed her role as a homemaker, creating a place of comfort for them. She liked to work in her yard, and was very proud of her gardens; her favorite being her roses. Esther also liked to travel on vacations with her family, reading, and caring for her great-granddaughter Kiera. She was a long-time and faithful member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Hahn; granddaughter, Heather (Tim) Kochanski; and great granddaughter, Kiera Kochanski all of Racine; nephew, Rev. Harold (Barbara) Johne of Fife Lake, Michigan; niece, Elinor (William) Nelson of Rockford, Illinois; other relatives and friends including the Lee Patty family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son-in-law, David Hahn; and sisters Olga Johne and Anta Haensgen. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Roekle officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation in the funeral home will begin at 10 a.m. Memorials to First Evangelical Lutheran Church have been suggested. Our family would like to thank the staff at All Saints ICU department, especially Nancy and Lisa, for all of your care and concern given to our “Nanny” and the rest of our family. May God bless you always.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

Many thanks to Bob and the staff of Draeger-Langendorf. This has been the hardest of times in my families lives and you were very attentive and helpful with all that needed to be done. The tribute that you created for my mother was beautiful and I shall not forget it. God bless all of you.
