Buckley, and Jean Goines. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive her. In addition to her beloved husband, Eula was preceded in death by her son, Jerome Johnson, mother Hartense Ford, father, Dudley Oates, brothers, John Oates, and Stevie Jackson, sister, Eudene Thomas, sister-in-law, Nellie Oates, and nephews, Jessie Johnson.

Her Homegoing Service will be held in St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 11th and Center, on Thursday, April 11th at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop L.L. at that time in my life I felt I would never again find love
I knew from the moment we met that he was the one…
little did I realize not only did I meet the pefect guy for me
but that I would find such a rare treasure in his family…Mom Eula
I want to thank you for just being who you are, and know I truly feel so blessed
out of all of the mother-in-law’s I could have had
I know I have found the best!

    Happy Memories

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy time and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

To the Family of Mrs. Eularine Oates Johnson.

    To the children:
Your mom was a true gem on this earth. Back when, in the seventies, I remember when she gave me a place to stay when I had no where to go. I still think of all of you as family in my heart even though we lose touch with each other. And I still see your moms smile, so loving. You all stay strong and know that heaven has the finest of the finest with both Mr. and Mrs. Johnson up there. Love you all and my thoughts are with you all of you.

A huge heart felt thank you!

My Aunt, Alvera Van Brunt, was adamant about not having a funeral; with Mike Langendorf’s skills and refreshing open personality, we were able to meet her desires and also give her family and friends a chance for final goodbyes.
