Evelyn E. Fornal

Dec 15, 2005

Mrs. Fornal, 90, peacefully went home to her Lord from the Becker Shoop Center on Thursday, December 15, 2005. She was born in Racine on July 4, 1915, the daughter of the late Lewis and Laura (nee: Larsen) Christensen.

She was a graduate of Washington Park High School. On February 8, 1936, in Our Savior Lutheran Church, she was united in marriage to Edwin Fornal, who preceded her in death. She had been employed by the Hamilton Beach Co., A&E Manufacturing, and Motor Specialty until her retirement. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and the Friday Humble Park Niners. Mrs. Fornal enjoyed shopping, and crafting; but her greatest love was her family.

Surviving are her children Edwina (Leslie) Brown of Sturtevant, John Fornal Sr. of Rib Lake, WI, Robert Fornal of Hanau, Germany, Elizabeth (Edward) Jensen of Racine, Christine (Dennis) Doss of Mantee, MS; 12 grandchildren, David (Bonnie) Brown, Dennis Brown, Susan Brown, John (Heather) Fornal Jr., Suzette Kumba, Sascha Fornal, Michael, Kay, Pamela, and Daniel Jensen, Roby and Keith Doss; 14 great grandchildren, her sister Agnes Fornal, sister-in-law Marie Fornal both of Racine. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive her. In addition to her parents and her husband, her brothers and sister-in-law Stanley (Ella) Christensen and Roy Christensen, and her sister-in-law and brothers-in-law Helen (Tony) Brozovich, Naviys and Robert Fornal preceded her in death.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, December 19th, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Karen Kastler officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of the Becker Shoop Center for their compassion and dedication to Evelyn over the last 8 years.
