Florence Pearl Hardy

Service Details

Her Homegoing Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, July 10th, at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Charles Gates officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Florence Pearl Hardy, 71, was called Home by her Loving Savior on June 29, 2017. She was born in Brandon, MS on May 8, 1946 the daughter of the late Lilton and Lela Mae (nee: Rogers) Myers.

She found Jesus at an early age. On December 31, 1966, she was united in marriage to Richard E. Hardy who preceded her in death on March 15, 2015. Mrs. Hardy was a faithful member of the 23rd Avenue Church of Christ. She was a loving foster care giver to many young children. Mrs. Hardy enjoyed collecting elephants, taking care of her animals and nurturing her plants. Her

Greatest loves were her God, her family, and her foster children.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Richard (Rosemarie of Suffolk VA) Hardy, of Portsmouth, VA, Michelle Hardy, of Kenosha,

Eric (Kimberly) Hardy, of Beach Park, IL, Lela Chavez, of Medford, OR, and Unique Culppeper Hardy, of Beach Park, IL; 17 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and loving husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Samaria Pearl Hardy.
