Gregory Shawn Grissom

Jul 22, 1970 – Mar 18, 2007

GREGORY S. GRISSOM ST. PAUL, MN – Greg Grissom, 36, (formerly of Racine) died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Sunday, March 18, 2007. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 22, 1970 to Gary and Bonnie (nee: Docter) Grissom. His mother Bonnie preceded him in death on June 14, 2006. Greg graduated from Case High School in 1988 and attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Greg was a kind and gentle person who will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor and contagious smile. His passions included art and music. However, his son Austin was the center of his world. In addition to Austin, his survivors include his father, Gary Grissom of Racine; sister, Lynae (Randy) Wolfgram of Appleton; brother, Jeffrey (Carrie) Grissom of Franklin; grandmother, Mary Grissom of Kenosha; nephews and nieces, Ethan, Matthew, Maria, Emily and Brenna Lee; aunt and uncles, Carol (Bruce) Dykeman of Seattle, WA, James Grissom, Steven Grissom both of Kenosha, Michael Grissom of Racine; cousins, Tom Grissom, Pam Zulabowski, Bill Teunas and numerous dear friends. A private memorial service was held for his family. Memorials have been suggested to The Austin Grissom Trust Fund c/o Tri-City National Bank 8710 Durand Ave Sturtevant, WI 53177. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

    Dear Mr.Grissom,
I have much sorrow for your loss. I am Austin’s cousin ELishia Garcia. I remember him as such a very good person to everyone. Also a wonderful father to his son and a very good uncle. I loss my grandmother to breast cancer so I know whats it is like to lose someone that you love, but if it helps I look at it as a special angel to watch over us.

    With many prayers to you,
    Elishia

Testimonials

June 24, 2020

My Aunt, Alvera Van Brunt, was adamant about not having a funeral; with Mike Langendorf’s skills and refreshing open personality, we were able to meet her desires and also give her family and friends a chance for final goodbyes.
