Harriet A. Trott

Aug 15, 1914 – Feb 18, 2007

RACINE – Harriet A. Trott, 92, passed away peacefully at Woodstock Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Kenosha on Sunday morning, February 18, 2007. She was born in Pontotoc, MS on August 15, 1914, to Will and Adeline Trott. Harriet worked for Hotel Racine until its closure. She was a member of the McDonald United Methodist Church in Pontotoc, MS. and attended Wayman A.M.E. Church in Racine. Harriet enjoyed watching baseball and was an avid Cubs fan. She leaves to cherish her memory three grandchildren, Lezlie (Louis) Taylor of Bloomington, MN, Dale (Gloria) Trott on Penfield, NY, Craig (Theresa) Trott of Racine, WI; five great grandchildren, Brandon and Jordan Taylor of Bloomington, MN, Michael Trott of Penfield, NY, Toni and Craig Trott of Racine; her daughter-in-law, Sandra Trott of Racine and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her 2 sons, W.T. “Jake” Trott, Michael Trott; 4 sisters, Fannie Trott Hooper, Willie Mae Trott Cameron, Penney Hyde Trott Ingram, and Nannie Lou Trott Hereford. Affectionately known as “Tee” to her grandchildren, she will be deeply missed. Her Homegoing service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wayman A.M.E. Church (424 N. Memorial Dr.) with Rev. Charlene B. Mills officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials to the Dr. Donald Wilz Hemodialysis Fund at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints.
