Racine – Henry “Main” Miller, age 80, passed away peacefully at Ascension All Saints Hospital on Thursday, May 28, 2020.

Henry was born in Lambert, Mississippi on January 17, 1940 to the late David and Rutha Mae (nee: White) Miller. On February 2, 2001 he was united in marriage with Kathy Faye (nee: Kelley).

With a profound work ethic, Henry was a reliable employee of AMC / Chrysler, from where he retired. He was a proud member of Searching Together Missionary Baptist Church. Among his interests, he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling – especially to his native home in Mississippi. Above all, “Main” was happiest while in the surroundings of his entire family.

Surviving are his loving wife, Kathy Miller; children, Joanne Davis, Evelyn Ann Rolling, Brenda Miller, Eva Miller, Ericka Vance, Henry Darrell Ivy and Sabrina Ivy; many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Melvina (Sylvester) Scott, Vernita Blocker and Lillie (Larry) Rogers; brothers, David (Danetta) Miller, Jr. and Wayne (Cora) Miller; aunt, Catherine White; mother-in-law, Mary Kelley-Lampkin; brother-in-law, Fredrick Kelley; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends – too numerous to mention all by name. In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by grandson, Christopher Henry Miller; and sisters, Ethel (Ollie) McCoy and Bessie Johnson.

Services celebrating Henry’s life will be held at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 11:00 am with Rev. Willie Riley and Rev. James Oates officiating. Viewing will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery.

Mr. Henry, you will be truly missed. Getting up every morning at 5 so we could grill out. Getting up every morning cleaning snow off our cars to go to work. Then watching you go to church on Sunday mornings, dress to the tee. Mr. Henry was a sharp dresser, I remember teasing him about some one was going to kidnap him and he would fall out laughing. Well all I can say is, There’s no more heartache and Pain. He’s in GOD’S hands now.

Our prayer goes out to Kathy and Mel.
