
Jahamarah Amina Allen made her transition on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at her residence. She was born September 6, 1973 in Racine, Wisconsin. She graduated from Jerome I. Case High school in 1992. She worked part-time at Pick and Save Grocery and was a student at Gateway Technical College until her health began to fail. Jahamarah enjoyed listening to Joyce Meyers and was a Dallas Cowboy fan. Jahamarah’s memories will be cherished by her parents Gladys and Craig Oliver and James Moore; paternal grandmother Bernice Moore; paternal great-grandmother who adored her Luella Nolan all of Racine; sister, Renisha and Pete Murillo and their children, Peter Christian, Rita, Angel and Ada of Prairie DuSac; Wisconsin; godmother Peggy Moore-Smelley; god sister Markela Moore and her children Charles, Quamecca and Ashley all of Racine; special cousins Wanda Bogan and Raachee Moore of Racine, Wisconsin and Lonnis Allen II of Atlanta, Georgia, a special friend Bridgette McCurtis of Madison, Wisconsin and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Pastor Nesbie J. Allen and Mo. Vicie L. (nee Barker) Allen, Eugene Moore Sr., and Albert Pouncy; great-great grandmother Lucille McLain; aunt Evelyn Gardner; special cousins Calvin Payne and Jimi Allen. Services will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greater Grace Temple Church of God In Christ, 522 North Memorial Drive with Pastor Lewis L. Doss, Jr. officiating. The family will be receiving guests at 10:00 a.m.
