James Allen Chiodo

Aug 12, 1956 – Feb 20, 2017

Service Details

Service: Saturday, February 25, 2017  at Journey Church, 10700 75th Street in Kenosha, at 10:00 am

Kenosha – James Allen Chiodo (Jim/Jimi), age 60, of Kenosha, Wisconsin joined his Lord in Heaven on the morning of February 20, 2017. Jim was born in Hollywood, CA on August 12, 1956 to Kenneth Chiodo and Kathleen Chiodo (Wood). After his father finished serving in the Marine Corps, his family moved back to Kenosha, WI where he grew up, made life-long friends and started his family. Jim eventually moved to Reno, NV where he loved life on the Ponderosa for 30 years. He was a successful roofing contractor, working in the hot desert sun for months at a time without ever seeing a cloud to shade him.  Jim was adventurous. He loved to play golf, shoot pool, ride and build motorcycles and enjoyed SCUBA diving. He even obtained his pilot’s license. He was an artist who was skilled at airbrushing and pinstriping. In 2015, Jim moved back to Wisconsin to share life with his family.  Jim is survived by his fiancé Stephanie Kendall, his two children, Christine Chiodo, Julie (JJ) Wergin, as well as five grandchildren, Ryan, Vinny, Jayce, James,  and Jackson. He is also survived by his sister Lori Underwood, brother Trace Chiodo, and sister Jodi Didenko. Jim was a loving father, fiancé, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held at Journey Church, 10700 75th St, Kenosha, WI on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10:00am with Pastor Levi Ketelsen officiating.
