Julie’s Personal Touch

RACINE – James Edward Malnar, II, 25, passed away as a result of a motorcycle accident on Monday, April 30, 2018. He passed away with his family by his side, holding his hand.

A lifetime resident of Racine, James was born on January 20, 1993.  He graduated from JI Case High School in 2011 and attended Gateway Technical College.  James was a lawn care specialist for Spring Green.  However, he intended on becoming an iron worker and was looking forward to contributing to the Foxconn project.

James had a strong faith in God.  He will be remembered for his warm-heart, his contagious smile and sense of humor; as well as his love for sports and nature. He especially enjoyed fishing in the Upper Peninsula.  James will be dearly missed by the many that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Jill (finance, Chris Cataldi) Malnar of Mount Pleasant; his father, James E. Malnar of Racine; his sisters, Brianne (fiancé, Anthony Caruso) Malnar and Jessica Porter; his brother, Justin Porter all of Mount Pleasant; his grandparents, Gene and Judy Hulsey of Racine, Edward Malnar of Racine, Yvonne Craft of Elkhart, IN; his dear niece, Zella Caruso and soon to be nephew, Maximus James Caruso; his canine boy and companion,  Jax; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. James was preceded in death by his uncle, Gary Hulsey and aunt, Julie Hulsey.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Monday evening for a visitation from 5-8 p.m.  A service honoring and remembering James’ life will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Warren Williams officiating.    There will also be a visitation on Tuesday from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.  His interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.

Words can not express the loss I feel, I will miss you at all of our family gatherings. It will not be the same without the smile you always wore. I know you are with our Father in Heaven and that gives me comfort. Save a place for me.
