vet
Feb 15, 1962 – Apr 3, 2014

~~Kenosha – Jeffrey A. Ross, 52, passed away at United Hospital-Kenosha Campus on April 3, 2014. He was born February 15, 1962 in Racine, WI, the son of Rosie L. (nee: Glass) Ross and the late Leatha Ross.

Jeffrey was educated in the Kenosha school system and he was in the last graduating class from the original, Mary D. Bradford, in 1980.  He furthered his educated when he joined the U.S. Army and Gateway Technical College, where he studied aircraft mechanics.  From 1982-1985 he served in the U.S. Army as an H-1 Attack Helicopter Mechanic. He received the good conduct medal, expert M16 rifle badge, aircraft crewman badge, and the army commendation medal.  Jeffrey was a loyal employee of Kenosha Transit until recently, and enjoyed the comradeship he shared with the other drivers.  Jeffrey was an excellent cook, loved the outdoors, and enjoyed working with his hands (home renovation, roofing, small machine and auto repair, etc.). He was truly a jack of all trades. Mostly Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family.

Ross Jr and great niece, Sarah R. Brockman-Mason.

Testimonials

June 24, 2020

Can’t thank Gary and you all enough for our fathers funeral arrangements (Victor Joseph Morris) June 18th, 2020.
He would have been SO proud. So many little personal details that we were not even expecting, totally overwhelmed us. From the pamphlets to the thank-you notes and copies of the video, to the beautiful casket picture and arrangement. Pop looked as proud as he was in life. And thanks also to the very cooperative and helpful staff. We thought it would take much longer to knock this all out at our one and only meeting with Gary. We did not want to overlook, or forget to give our heartfelt thanks for such wonderful service at such a horrible time in our lives.
God Bless,
Bob Morris
