Jenny, I remember all the times over the years we came to Racine to visit. We always had the best time that I never wanted to go home. Even though we only lived 4 hours from y’all it felt like forever to a kid, and I could hardly wait until the next time. My fondest memories was when we came to visit that summer and I didn’t want to go back home. My mom your aunt said, ” You can’t stay because I need you there for when they come to redo the kitchen floor.” Then she said, “Pam (my sister) can stay and when they finish the kitchen the floor, you can ride the bus back over there.” I was so excited. That was the best summer ever. I know we have not spoken in years; we’ve gotten older our lives have taken us in different directions. We all are doing our own thing but that doesn’t mean we didn’t think of each other from time to time or love each other. When your young and growing up you don’t think of your cousin that your close in age will leave this earth someday. Now that I’m grown and have gotten that dreadful call that you were gone hit me like a ton of bricks. You will forever be in my heart; the fond memories will come and go, and I will smile. Hey, when you get to the other side give Aunt Queen, Maurice (my nephew) and MaKenlee (my granddaughter) a great big kiss and a hug for me. I love you cousin!
