Service Details

Homegoing Services will be celebrated for Jennifer at Greater Mount Eagle Missionary Baptist, 929 State Street, on Monday, July 21, 2025 with Pastor Keith T. Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be in the church on Monday from 10-11 am.

Jennifer Joann Martin, age 61, transitioned to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in Kissimmee, FL.  She was born on July 7, 1963, in Racine, WI, to Bishop C. and Georgia Queen E. (nee:  Smith) Martin. 

Jennifer was educated in the Racine Unified School System.  After graduating, she pursued a career in Real Estate and was a Real Estate Agent and Sales Agent for many years.  At the time of her transition, Jennifer was the caregiver of her sister, Shelley.   She enjoyed selling on eBay and taking care of her family.  She loved her family and will truly be missed by all that knew her.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her father: Bishop C. Martin, Racine, WI; Sisters: Debra L. Martin, Racine, WI, and Shelley L. Martin, Kissimmee, FL.; Niece and Nephew: Gabriella Wright and Cameron (Ashley) Wright;  Great-Nieces: Aria Hayes and Angelina Smollen; Great-Nephews: KaMari Wright, Julian Wright, Giovanni Wright, Kayden Schoedl. Special Aunt: Marzee Smith; Additional Aunts: Lula Grace (Walter) Kilgore, Anna Martin, Varnell (Howard) Owens, Doris (Bennie) Smith.  Special Uncle: Hervie Martin; Special Cousin: Stephen Martin. She is further survived by a host of cousins, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Queen E. Martin; her grandparents, aunts and uncles.
