RACINE – Jeremy J. Yust, 40, passed away at Froedtert Memorial Hospital on July 13, 2017 after a two year battle with glioblastoma.

He was born in Racine on October 4, 1976, the son of David and Eva (nee: Krezinski) Yust.  He graduated from Horlick High School.

Jeremy was passionate about football and baseball and was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan.  Jeremy is still celebrating the Cub’s World Series victory up in Heaven with his grandmother.

He is survived by his children, Courtney Yust of Racine, Angela and Anthony Yust of Kenosha; his mother and step-father, Eva and Dale Grathen of Racine; his father, David Yust of Kenosha; his brother, Brian (Marcy) Yust of Algonquin, IL; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.  Jeremy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Delores and Vincent Krezinski and paternal grandparents, Mildred and Joseph Yust.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Home on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 for a visitation and time to meet with his family from 5-7 p.m. A service celebrating and honoring Jeremy’s life will follow at 7:00 p.m.   His interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Caledonia on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.   In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to his family to help with expenses.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Froedtert Memorial Hospital; especially CFAC – 7th Floor; Aurora Clinic on Washington Avenue; Dr. Connelly and her nurse, Sara and Horizon Hospice for all the professional and exceptional attention Jeremy received while under their care.

“I gave the devil a hell of a ride.  I fought him until the end.” – Jeremy
