Family and friends will remember Jerry for his individual strength, independence, and quick wit. He enjoyed being with family and friends, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Mr. Jones was a faithful member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

Left to treasure his memory are his children Corliss Sosniak of Pasadena, California, and Bradford Jones of Racine; stepchildren Brenda (Floyd) Theus and Karen (Bill) Myers in Georgia, Sandra Trott of Racine, and Linda (Donnie) Freeman of Minnesota; daughters-in-law Verla Jones, Mary Lane of Racine, and Doris Jones of Georgia; sister Rose Jones of Illinois; 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Debra Jones and sons Gregory Jones, Jerry Jones Jr.; Stepson Edward Keith Lane; and several brothers and sisters.

Dear Grandpa Jerry, You lived a long full life to the end. I will always remember you getting on the floor to read the comics to me, talk and play with me. I can still remember coming by and being greeted with “come on in here” and a big hug. You embraced my future husband Craig with warmth,’ a strong handshake and hug. He was always grateful for the welcome to the family. You will always be loved and missed. Love Tracy and Craig

Testimonials

David Fleury

Mike,
Words cannot adequately convey our gratitude for all you did to honor our family member and friend, Mert Fleury. Like with her husband Ray, years ago, you and your staff went above and beyond to help us through this difficult time and to give Mert a wonderful celebration of her life. Every detail was considered, all of our requests were given unfailing attention, and the little extras took our breath away. Every sad feeling and every tear was matched two-fold with feelings of gratitude and comfort because of what you did. We will be forever grateful!
The Fleury Family
