Jesse Dean Wilson

Jan 11, 1980 – May 18, 2024

Service Details

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Eagle Lake Park (23705 Church Road in Kansasville, WI 53139).

Caledonia – Jesse Dean Wilson, age 44, was riding his Harley innocently down 4 Mile Road, when he had his beautiful life senselessly taken from him by the hands of a drunk driver, at 10:00 am, Saturday morning, May 18, 2024.

Jesse was born in Racine on January 11, 1980 to Jesus “Jesse” Carbajal and Kelly Wilson. He was a graduate of Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda, FL. Talented and creative with his hands, he owned & operated J. Wilson Construction, LLC.

Outside of work and riding his Harley, Jesse enjoyed playing “bags” with his boys and spoiling his daughter. Above all, Jesse loved spending time with all of his family and extensive circle of friends.

Jesse is survived by his four children, Caleb Moore, Cole Langenfeld-Wilson, Austin Wilson and Adalyn Wilson; mom, Kelly Wilson; dad & step-mom, Jesus & Jodi Carbajal; girlfriend & mother of Adalyn, Lindsay Smith; many other family and friends – too numerous to mention all by name. Jesse was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Lorayne Dallas; great-grandfather, Peter Dallas; and brother, Zachery Carbajal.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Eagle Lake Park (23705 Church Road in Kansasville, WI 53139).

Jesse was my go-to guy when I needed repairs or improvements on my home and was always willing to take time whenever I needed him. We had many talks over the last couple of years about life, what his aspirations were for his business, and his family. I am gutted by this news. Gone way too soon. Love and prayers to his family and friends.

My sincere condolences to all who knew and loved Jesse. We didn’t know Jesse, but my wife and I rode by the spot on 4 Mile Rd, just as someone was paying their respects on this first Father’s Day without Jesse. We were touched and saddened by the pain loved ones must endure at the senseless loss. Jesse may be gone, but the love of his family and friends will never end as he lives on in your hearts. I will think of that moment and how precious and fragile life is, each time I pass the cross that marks the spot where Jesse crossed over. May God Bless and comfort you all in your loss, and may Jesse rest in peace.

Testimonials

March 13, 2025

Thank you so very much for the exemplary care that you provided for both our mom and dad. Your family is extremely kind and exudes much empathy towards others. You and your staff display much professionalism with great talent and attention to detail. Mom and dad were always very particular in their appearance. Mom would say, You are leaving a lasting impression of yourself with someone to remember you by. Your parents taught you boys well; be very proud of that! Love on them, as death is so very permanent.

Holly and I are officially orphans now. It is people like your family and David Huck being there for us, that bring comfort when you are going through one of the most difficult challenges life throws at you.

I thank God every day for our Ostergaard family and will always cherish the memories.

Love you,

Jody Burlingame Wagner
