John and I were locker mates at Horlick High School and I hadn’t seen John since graduation day in 1965. Many times I have wondered what happened to John, whether he had moved out of town or if he was still living in Racine and I just had not run into him. John and I were good friends in high school . He was a kind, gentle sole and we got along just great. I always enjoyed his friendship. He signed my 1965 yearbook as follows: ” Gord. To a great locker partner and a great (underlined) friend who I have had a lot of fun with this year. Good luck Gord at what ever you do. John Clausen. ” I will never forget him. He was special. My very best friends and family called me Gord.

We were so sorry to hear of Uncle “Butch”s passing. I know grandpa Jerry was glad to spend some time with him on his last visit. We always enjoyed visiting and especially enjoyed seeing everyone after years at Kim’s wedding. He was loved by many and will be missed. Our deepest sympathy to Aunt Sue and the rest of the family.
