Service: Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 6:00 pm in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home

Visitation: in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm

John (Jack) Madahgian, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017.

Jack was the son of Armenian immigrants, graduated from Horlick High School, retired from Young Radiator Co. after a career as an inspector and spent the rest of his life living and teaching his Christian faith.

He was long-time Sunday School teacher at St. Mesrob Armenian Church and later attended Racine Bible Church, Faith Community Church, and in recent years Family Fellowship Church. His Christian faith was the focus of his life, and Jack published several volumes of Christian writings.

He was an accomplished handyman and woodworker, gifting his family and friends with handcrafted treasures.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Hildegarde Smith Madahgian, his sisters, Rose (Edward) Kaprelian of Racine, Margaret Madaghian & Elizabeth Derderian, both of Methuen, MA, and many nieces and nephews and their families. Jack is preceded in death by his twin sisters, Mary Kamakian & Catherine Sahakian, and his brother, Michael Madajian.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home located at 4600 County Line Road, Racine, WI. Visitation 4:00-6:00 p.m.; Service at 6:00 p.m.
