Racine – Joseph George Opahle, 58, passed away at All Saints Hospital on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. He was born in Racine on December 18, 1958. Joe graduated from JI Case High School in 1975, and was employed at Menards as a sales/customer service representative.
Joe was a kind and loving soul that was always willing to help anyone in any way he could. He truly enjoyed the presence of his children and grandchildren and would do anything to make them smile. He loved to cook for them and often tried to duplicate the recipes that he saw while watching some of his favorite TV cooking shows. He also liked attending car shows and monster truck rallies. Joe was devoted to his church, and will be missed by all that knew him.
Joe is survived by his children: Rachel Opahle of Milwaukee, Danielle Opahle of Racine, Jessica Opahle of Bristol, Joshua Opahle currently stationed in Maryland, Alexandra and Elaina Opahle both in Alabama;grandchildren: Willow Zavaleta, Serenity Salas, Ryder Salas, Juniper Medina Sister: Lesli Beutel of Racine and his beloved father Joseph C. Opahle of Caledonia.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Jesus Alive Ministries (St.Paul Lutheran), 3011 Erie Street, with Pastor Randy Cameron officiating. Visitation will begin in the church at 10 a.m with service to follow at 11 a.m. Please join us for food and fellowship on-site afterwards.

I met Joe at Menards and we became friends.He came to a car show to take pictures of my 32 ford. He was a wonderful person and I really enjoyed our being friends.I think of Joe often.It feels very strange to walk into Menards and not see him there..I send the family my condolences. R.I.P. Joe
