
Judy Ann Nelson, 64, (formerly of Racine) passed away at Kindred Kenosha North on Monday, April 2, 2012.
Judy was born in Racine on March 1, 1948, the daughter of Marvin and Phillis (nee: McKim) Gleason, Sr. She graduated from Horlick High School and later received an associate degree in nursing. Judy worked as an LPN for various nursing homes in the area.
She was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church and enjoyed crocheting, crafts and reading.
Her survivors include her children, Bridget (Dave) Neiman, Christopher (Kristin) Nelson, Heidi Nelson; her grandchildren, Samanatha and Nicholas Johnson, C.J., Nicole, Michael and Toby Nelson; her parents, Marvin and Phillis Gleason, Sr. all of Racine; her brothers and sisters, Marvin (Kim) Gleason, Jr. of Franksville, Mark (Jo) Gleason, Connie (Chuck) Brandt both of Racine; as well as many nieces, nephews; relatives and friends.
Family and friends are invited to meet at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. for a service remembering and celebrating Judy’s life. Rev. Walter Hermanns will officiate. There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Thursday from 4-6 p.m. A private interment will take place in West Lawn Memorial Park
