Racine – Karen Elizabeth Marsh, age 72, passed away peacefully at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa on Saturday, February 4, 2017.

Karen was born in Racine on March 4, 1944 to Ray Marsh and Irma (nee: Behrens) Marsh. A graduate of Washington Park High School, she had been employed by Racine County Probate Court, PDI, Wheaton Franciscan and M&I Bank.

Karen was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and the Heritage Nation Catholic Association. She enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, caring for her cats, and had an extensive collection of kissing angels and owl figurines. Above all, Karen loved and cherished spending time with her entire family.

Surviving are her loving daughter, Jean (Brian Pouliot) Fuentes; grandchildren, Brian (Sandra Trinidad) Fuentes, Daniel (Melissa Loken) Fuentes, Jesse (Tina Lucas) Fuentes and Brittany (Byron Ortiz) Fuentes; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marlene (Jerry) Schultz and Helen Bensene; brother, Bill (Maggie) Marsh; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends – too numerous to mention all by name.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her brothers, Tom and Ron Marsh.

A memorial service will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 4:00 pm with Deacon Roberto Fuentes officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.

A special note of thanks to Zilber Family Hospice for the compassionate care and support given to Karen in her time of need. May God bless all of you!
