Memorial Suggestions

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the family would be appreciated.

Kristi Nicole, age 41, of Sturtevant, passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2021.  She was born in Racine, on April 17, 1980, the daughter of David Richard and Cathy Ann (nee: Tepley) Smith.

As a child, she and her siblings enjoyed bowling, mini-golfing, and playing at the park.  She always had an infectious giggle and a huge heart.  She had a passion for making sure everyone around her was happy.  She was known for her silly jokes, compassionate spirit, and amazing birthday gifts.

Kristi’s world revolved around her daughter, Skylar.  She was Kristi’s beloved baby girl.  Nothing made her happier.  She loved taking her on adventures and exploring new things with her.  They frequently went to six flags, theme parks and shopping trips.  If Skylar was with Kristi, both were as happy as could be.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Skylar; her mother and father, David Richard and Cathy Ann (nee. Tepley) Smith; her siblings, Jason (Courtney) Smith, Justin (Britane) Smith, Melissa Smith, and Correy (Steve) Goodwin; and many dear aunts and uncles from both the Smith and Tepley families, many cousins, and many friends.

Whenever a beautiful crosses a path…it leaves beautiful memories in it’s place. I cannot fully express the sorrow I felt learning of Kristi’s passing. I found her to be kind, warm, fiercely devoted to her daughter and the ones she cared about. She was a kind caring and loving person. Her love for her daughter Skylar was immeasurable. Skylar was her world, her purpose and her legacy. For those of you who loved, cared for and respected Kristi, I you have my sincere condolences and I pray that you find peace and comfort within your hearts memories. Kristi, you will be missed, remembered and forever in my heart.”

    Respectfully,

    Angelita

Testimonials

June 24, 2020

My Aunt, Alvera Van Brunt, was adamant about not having a funeral; with Mike Langendorf’s skills and refreshing open personality, we were able to meet her desires and also give her family and friends a chance for final goodbyes.
