RACINE – Laureen R. Consiglero, 52, passed away after battling cancer on Thursday, June 8, 2017.
She was born in Racine on July 27, 1964, the daughter of John and Patricia (nee: Verbeten) Consiglero, Sr. Laureen graduated from St. Catherine’s High School in 1982.
Laureen was a gentle and kind loving person with sweet smile and wonderful sense of humor. Her greatest joys came from being in the company of her son, Joseph and traveling whenever possible. She especially loved her travels to Ireland and Yugoslavia, both on multiple occasions.
Laureen was a longtime member of St. Lucy Catholic Church and was employed by Walgreens.
In addition to her devoted son, Joseph Paiga, she is survived by her former husband and loving friend, Dan Paiga; her mother, Patricia Consiglero all of Mount Pleasant; her brother and sisters, John (Christine) Consiglero of New Berlin, Mary (Phil) Busch of Green Bay, Cathy (Dave) Lehner of Appleton, Christine Consiglero and Alisa Pichelman both of Racine; as well as many dear nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends too numerous to mention. Laureen was preceded in death by her father, John Consiglero; brother-in-law, Greg Pichelman and niece, Alaura Pichelman.
Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. for a visitation and time to meet with her family. The celebration of her life and funeral Mass will be held at St. Lucy Catholic Church (3101 Drexel Ave.) on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Javier Guativa officiating. There will also be a visitation in the church on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Caledonia following the Mass.
Laureen’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the nurses at All Saints on the 3rd floor, ICU for the exceptional care she received while under their attention.

I’ll never forget all the times we all got together at Aunt Pats house when we were all little kids (curtain climbers). Playing outside and in the rec room in lower level of the house. I remember some Christmas ‘s too. We probably drove our parents nuts lol! Good times Good days….. Great Days !!😁 Love you Laureen and our hole family ❤️
