Linda Ann Marzec

Nov 13, 1955 – Jun 22, 2007

Racine- Linda Ann Marzec, 51, passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with Sarcoidosis, an aggressive pulmonary disease, on Friday, June 22, 2007. Linda was born in Milwaukee on November 13, 1955 to Donald and Mary Ann (nee: Olbinski) Marzec. She was a 1973 graduate of Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha. Linda was employed as a manager by BP-Open Pantry until her failing medical condition forced her to retire. She attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. A caring animal enthusiast, Linda loved all animals but was truly passionate about her feline friends. Surviving are her husband, Mark Murphy; son, Kyle Eicksteadt; parents, Donald and Mary Ann Marzec; sister, Cynthia (Steve Schaub) Marzec; mother-in-law, Delores Murphy; sister-in-law, Brenda (Mel) Mackie; brothers-in-law, Mike and Brian Murphy; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her brother, James Marzec; and father-in-law, Leonard Murphy. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home, 4600 County Line Rd., on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 7:00 pm with Rev. William J. Dietzler officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-7 pm. Interment will take place at 11 am on Thursday at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Vermont, WI. A special note of thanks to all of Linda’s family and friends for their constant care and attention that was extended during her struggle with this awful disease. May God bless all of you!
