Lisa Marie Granger-Sohr

May 28, 1957 – Feb 6, 2006

Lisa Marie Granger-Sohr Racine – Lisa Marie Granger-Sohr, 48, died on Monday, February 6, 2006 at St. Mary’s Medical Center after battling a long illness. A lifetime resident of Racine, she was born on May 28, 1957 to Thomas and Joyce (nee: Remter) Granger. Lisa graduated from Washington Park High School. Despite her illness, Lisa focused on living her life to the fullest. She enjoyed line dancing, horseback riding and spending time with her family. Her survivors include her parents, Thomas and Joyce Granger; fiancé, Dan Clausen; brothers, Kevin (Mary) Granger, John (Maureen) Granger; nieces and nephews, Melanie, Jacob, Tara, Sarah, Samantha, Rebecca and Benjamin Granger all of Racine and numerous other relatives and friends. Lisa was preceded in death by her infant daughters, Jessica and Andrea Sohr. Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. for a service celebrating Lisa’s life with Rev. Michael Zolnosky officiating. There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4-6 p.m. Private burial will take place in West Lawn Memorial Park. Lisa’s family has suggested memorials to the American Diabetes Association.

    I knew Lisa from grade school through high school. Although it’s been twelve years and I just learned of this, I’m sorry to learn that she is gone.
