Private Interment

Madison – Louis Famous Walton Jr., formerly of Racine,  Passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2018 while surrounded by his loving family. He was 76. He was born in Humphrey Arkansas on October 11, 1941 the son of the late Louis and Gladys (nee: Smith) Walton Sr. Louis spent many years living in Racine prior to moving to Madison to be closer to his daughters and family. Louis was a machinist by trade, both in Racine and Madison, most recently working at WT Rogers, and Madison-Kipp Corporation.

He is Survived by his daughters Jovona and Felicia Walton of Madison, and Shataya (Deon) Hall of Jackson, Tennessee; 12 grandchildren – Daniel, Kaliyah, Vanessa, ZaNyah, Keevon, Marvin, Markeese, Sienna, Demarion, Nyjah and Genesis. He is further survived by his sister Shirley Driver, and brothers Adriel, Vladimir, and Bobby Walton, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson DeVonte’ Abston; and brothers Adrian, Ricky, and Phayon Walton.

Homegoing services will be held at the Midtown Church of Christ (1704 13th Street) on Saturday, February 24, 2018. Visitation begins at 9:00 am followed by the service at 10:00 am.
