
RACINE – Madlynne S. Klapat, 92, passed away Friday, February 2, 2007, at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-All Saints Hospital. She was born in Milwaukee on January 18, 1915, daughter of the late Edward and Lydia (nee: Gutzman) Haase. On June 6, 1942, she was united in marriage to Anthony J. Klapat at St. Catherine’s Church in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death. She had lived in Racine most of her life She was a member of St. Edward’s Church. Mrs. Klapat is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Doug Engman of The Woodlands, Texas; her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Kristen and Paul Moriarty; and great-granddaughters, Katelyn Caroline and Kiley Madlynne Moriarty of Magnolia, Texas. She is further survived by her brother-in-law, Albert Klapat of Mountain Home, Ark.; her sister-in-law, Bernice Jelenc of Danville, Ky.; as well as by nieces, a nephew, other relatives, and friends. Private services were held on Tuesday, February 6, 2007.
