Marjorie Jean Pulice

Feb 3, 1925 – Mar 4, 2018

 

Marjorie J. Pulice, 93, passed away, at her residence, on Sunday, March 4, 2018, after a short battle with lung cancer. She was born in Eau Claire, WI on February 3, 1925, the daughter of the late James Albert and Josephine Mary (nee: Herber) Baker.

On November 20, 1954, in Waukegan, IL, she was united in marriage to George Pulice, who preceded her in death on September 5, 1991. Mrs. Pulice enjoyed doing word search puzzles, sewing, working in her garden, baking, scratch tickets, card games, and caring for her two dogs, Tiny and Clover.

Surviving are her step-children, George (Vivian Tusek) Pulice, of Lombard, IL, and Kathy Blevins, of Abeline, TX, several nieces, ande nephews, including, Lisa (Norman) Fritz and their children, Kristyn Fritz, Shannen (Rocky) Vires, Noelle Fritz, and Austin Fritz: great nieces and nephews, great-great niece and nephew, Athena Fritz, and Kamden Vires, who were her longtime companions and care givers, and her nephew, Michael (Eileen) Pulice. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Mrs. Pulice was preceded in death by two brothers, and four sisters.

Her funeral service will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, on Monday, March 12th, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ian Taylor officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery Hwy 32.
