Racine – Mary Agatha (nee: DeKeuster) Cetrano, age 104, passed away peacefully at the Becker-Shoop Center on Monday, November 14, 2016.
Born on June 18, 1912 in Amberg, WI, Mary was the daughter of the late William and Julia (nee: Goffard) DeKeuster. She married Joseph Cetrano on June 13, 1964 at St. Edward Catholic Church. Mary was employed as a clerk/secretary for 35 years. Her last employment was in the Racine County Clerk’s Office.
Mary was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church where she was involved in many church activities. She was an ardent member of many Pro-Life groups. Mary was a member of the Apostolate of Suffering and a great lover of nature.
She is survived by her sister, Anna Marie Krewal; and by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; brothers, George and Raphael (Rose) DeKeuster; twin brother, Joseph; sisters, Valarie DeKeuster, Philomena DeKeuster, Natalie (Joseph) Talos; Sr. Antonina (Agnes DeKeuster), and Cecilia (Joseph) Yuhas ; infant sister, Magdelan; and brother-in-law, John Krewal.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 3126 – 95th Street in Sturtevant, on Friday, November 18, 2016 with Rev. Javier Guativa officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be in the church on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Sebastian Catholic Church (for masses to be said for Mary’s soul) or to the Alpha Crisis Pregnancy Center.
