Quinley Tate Peebles transitioned from this life on September 17 2020, in Racine, Wisconsin at the age of 93. He was born on April 7, 1927 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Prince and Lucy Ann (nee: Scott) Peebles.

Jack as he was affectionately called by many, accepted Christ at an early age. He was currently a member of New Brighter Day Baptist Church in Kenosha, WI under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Thomas, where he sang with the male chorus. Jack was employed as a welder for American Motors/Chrysler Corporation in Kenosha, WI. After many years of dedicated   service he retired on August 19, 1991. He was a Mason who was faithful to the organization. Jack developed a love for fishing, hunting, playing pool, gardening, bowling, shooting darts, cooking and in his favorite words “Same O, Same O”

Quinley Tate Peebles was blessed to share his lifetime with his parents; his children Darvin Peebles of Detroit, MI, Joe (Ellen) Bindon of Memphis, TN, Roman Peebles of Racine, WI;`  Elaine Peebles and Elsie (nee: Peebles) Brown both of Tuscaloosa, AL; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; his sister Annie Lee Atkins; brothers Robert Peebles, Percy Peebles, Cleveland Peebles and Eugene Peebles,  as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name.

Jack was well known to many and he will be dearly missed.

The Celebration of His Life will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020 11:00am at New Brighter Day Baptist Church, 1225 25th Avenue, Kenosha, WI.  Visitation will be in the Church from 10:00am until the time of service.  Pastor Joseph Thomas will be officiating.  Interment will be in Green Ridge Cemetery.
